According to unconfirmed reports, Apple could release a less expensive iPod nano'ish version of the iPhone by the end of the year. Many users have complained that the iPhone is too expensive and too big and a less expensive nano'ish version of the iPhone could do the trick.
Kevin Chang, an analyst for JP Morgan based in Taiwan, says he received some information about a less expensive iPhone from people in Apple's supply chain. This report cannot be confirmed but it makes sense.
The prediction is that the new model will sell for $300 or less.
