A German supermarket chain has introduced a new way to checkout your items. In the new chain of stores, customers can pay for their purchases with a specially adapted mobile telephone. "The Future Store" was recently opened near Duesseldorf. Customers pick up a specially adapted phone when they come to the store. BlackBerry gains market share over iPhone

BlackBerry sales outpaced Apple Inc.'s iPhone in U.S. first-quarter sales accoring to research done by IDC. The report shows that the RIM's BlackBerry jumped up from 35.1% of the US market in Q4 of last year, to 44.5 % in Q1 2008. According to a report in the Financial Times, Apple is in discussions with some large music companies about a deal that would give customers free access to the entire iTunes library.
